I haven't posted in a long while mainly because I've been pretty busy. I thought it would be nice to post some sort of update.
Health
If you've been reading this for awhile, then you know I go round and round with this. I still workout a lot and I eat pretty clean (with exceptions taken during camping trips). My issue for the last few years has been lots of effort but very little results. I went to my doctor and said "what the heck is wrong with me?" My estrogen levels are high. I made changes, but haven't seen results. We ran some bloodwork a few weeks ago and were like "hey, blood glucose is low", so I went in for MORE bloodwork and more specific tests yesterday. We'll see how that goes. I'm not diabetic, so...I don't really know what it means yet. I just know that I recently went on a camping trip and my blood glucose monitor readings dipped "too low for a reading" according to this monitor I have to wear on my arm. That means it dipped down below 50 mg/dL. The only symptom I had was being unable to focus on writing while I got something to eat at the lodge.
Golden Heart Fencing Club
I am in the midst of forming a community fencing club. I am working on becoming a USFCA (US Fencing Coaching Association) Moniteur of Foil (Level 3 Coach). Written exam - passed. Practical exam - getting it set up remotely, haven't done it yet. Apparently, if I get certified, I'll be the only USFCA fencing coach in Alaska. Crazy! I'll get the club set up through USA Fencing and get some set hours.
I'll post about it again when it's ready to go. Like the logo? It's going to be focused on foil and eventually epee. If you are in Fairbanks, AK and want to learn to fence, contact me or just stay tuned.
Bigfoot
We are moving into the next round for the Boreal Bigfoot Expo, which will happen June 10-11, 2023 in Fairbanks, AK. I don't think we've really announced the dates yet, but those are the dates. We're planning a bigger, better event than the first expo in 2021. https://www.borealbigfootexpo.com/
Also, this summer I am getting out more for bigfoot excursions. Above is a panoramic view of the area I just spent a long weekend exploring with the whole Expo committee. What do you think? We picked up some good leads from people out in the area. I think we might hit up this area when the caribou are really moving through in the fall.
A New Book?
Hey, I'm almost finished with 'Saucers of The North'. I'm ready to be done with it and move on to the next project.

I will be going to Phenomecon in Vernal, UT in September. I plan on being done and having a few copies of it with me.
