Corn Maze at Arctic Harvest Distillery. Starts August 13, runs Thursday-Saturday (until snow flies), 4-9pm. Cost is $5/person and kids under 2 are free. Website

The 39 Steps - Fairbanks Drama Association - October 25 to November 10. A mystery play reminiscent of Hitchcock, Monty Python, and a spy novel. Tickets and times through the website. Website

38th Annual Halloween Family Run - October 30. 10am. UAF Patty Center. 2 miles or 10K. Costumed runners get a head start. Arrive early for the costume contest at 9:45am inside the Patty Center. Website
